P-8 VP/Program Mgr, Chief Engineer, Production Operations Director & Deputy Program Mgr
Identified an incorrect resistor on the Navy P-8 which could have resulted in fire in the flight deck causing substantial damage and potential loss of aircraft and/or lives. The entire fleet (worldwide) was grounded until the problem was fixed. Multiple resistors were found already burned up and immediate steps were taken to correct the issue for the safe return of P8 testing and production.
