First Place in the Zahn Prize Business Plan Competition

The Zahn Center holds a business plan competition each spring as part of the Entrepreneurial Management Center's Venture Challenge series, and awards cash prizes towards the company. An amount of $25,000 was awarded in 2012 and there were 5 finalists and 3 winners. The finalists all received $1000 towards their company formation and expenses, and the prize awarded were $10,000, $7,000, and $3,000 for the top 3 places.
