Philosophy:
I believe that education is one of the biggest parts of taking care of my patients and their families. It helps parents become more comfortable in caring for their children and empowers them. Also, it helps the child feel more comfortable in understanding what is going on with their condition. If you can form a strong relationship with the parents, then taking care of their family becomes an enjoyable and lifelong journey through childhood, adolescence and eventually into adulthood, and hopefully my young adult patients will be ready health wise to tackle what lies ahead of them.
