Philosophy:
As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, I believe in approaching patients through the lens of whole person care. Medications can be exceptionally helpful, however, it is likely that much more than medication will be needed to make the "big picture" come into focus. Treatment rarely starts and ends with just a pill, regardless of the medical field. Working with a patient, or with a family for my pediatric patients, to create a treatment plan they feel good about is important to me.
