Over 650 clinical hours in advanced practice assessment and treatments for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. I have spent over 120 hours in an Ortho-Spine practice learning to read X-rays and MRIs, and assessing spinal abnormalities and discerning pain originating from the spinal column. I gained experience completing post-surgical rounds in the hospital. I also spent 50 hours in a physical medicine office learning trigger point and joint injections. I have gained an online joint and trigger point certification from Advanced Practice Education Services. I am currently ACLS and BLS certified, and currently learning Spanish online. I am very comfortable with a variety of EMR systems (Cerner, IDX, Practice Fusion, Athena healthcare), and have extensive experience with MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel. I have professional leadership training from the USAF NonCommissioned Officer Training Program, and extensive quality training via the USAF & DOD programs while a hospital data abstractor.
