Symptoms and signs are merely telling what is imbalanced in the body. Either there is an excess or deficiency and it is either one of these two that leads to symptoms and medical conditions. When approaching an individual's set of symptoms, I make sure I get all of them and put them together. There is no sense in treating only one set of symptoms when the likelihood of them being related is so high. I am a functional medicine style of physician. I believe in nutrients, lifestyle changes, supplementation and dietary changes can, and do, make significant strides in overcoming symptoms. One is not deficient in medications. One is rather deficient in sleep, nutrients, healthy food or they have an excess of chemicals, stress, imbalanced diet or mindset. I simply guide the individual with effective information and a set of tools. It is up to the individual to act on the information and utilize the tools so their body can restore function.
