Method And Apparatus For Object Recognition And Warning System Of A Primary Vehicle For Nearby Vehicles

Method And Apparatus For Object Recognition And Warning System Of A Primary Vehicle For Nearby Vehicles

US Patent:
2013011, May 9, 2013
Filed:
Dec 26, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/726843
Inventors:
Dave Thomas - Wauconda IL, US
Barry Markman - Las Vegas NV, US
International Classification:
G06Q 30/02
US Classification:
705 1463
Abstract:
A vehicle to vehicle warning system comprises a transmitter associated with a primary vehicle alerting one or more secondary vehicles of its proximity through a receiver. The transmitter may emit a radio frequency signal which activates radio frequency receivers in surrounding vehicles. When in appropriate proximity, the signal is configured to initiate a warning at the secondary vehicle, such as light from a light-emitting device or sound from a sound-generating device. In another form, the primary vehicle includes a passive transmitter and the secondary vehicle includes a multi-frequency resonance tag/circuit having distinct frequencies for detection and discrimination. The passive transmitter creates electromagnetic waves which are generated as it passes by the secondary vehicle housing the multi-frequency resonance tag, setting off the secondary vehicle alarm system.

The passive transmitter creates electromagnetic waves which are generated as it passes by the secondary vehicle housing the multi-frequency resonance tag, setting off the secondary vehicle alarm system. This warning signal can be incorporated into the vehicles existing radio/warning light system and/or as a separate device. This invention provides a low cost simple device to provide a vehicle to vehicle warning system.

Method And Apparatus For Forming Multiple Cavities For Placement Of Hair Grafts

US Patent:
5643308, Jul 1, 1997
Filed:
Feb 28, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/395455
Inventors:
Barry Stephen Markman - Las Vegas NV
International Classification:
A61B 1700
US Classification:
606187
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for forming multiple cavities in the tissue of a patient into which hair transplant grafts are placed is disclosed. In one form, the apparatus is a cartridge comprising a housing, a guide, and a depressor. The guide comprises a plurality of dilator accepting passages located in the housing or in a template in the housing. The depressor is a plate or actuated plunger located at a first end of the dilators which, when depressed, forces the dilators from the guide into tissue of a patient. In a second form, the apparatus comprises mating male and female templates. The male template includes a number of downwardly extending spikes for engagement with a number of downwardly extending hollow guides on the female template. The spikes of the engaging male and female templates are pressed into the tissue and the male template is removed, leaving cavities formed by the hollow guides of the female template, into which hair grafts are located.
