Music Research Fellow
School of Advanced Studies, University of London
The Institute for Musical Research, as part of the School of Advanced Studies, awarded a Fellowship to pursue cutting edge research in music theory. This new approach emerged out of the work in my recent book 'Lebewohl': Reconstructions of Death and Leave-taking in Music, published March 2013 by Pendragon Press. Modeled on contemporary physics, it adopts a new paradigm in descriptions of music as alternative realities.
