I understand that the happiness and wellbeing of your child is extremely important to you. I work with children and adolescents with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns. I also have extensive experience treating children with Autism and other developmental and learning delays. I provide in-home ABA Programs, and offer Autism Spectrum Assessments. I really enjoy working with parents and families that need assistance with children of all ages. I have experience with children and adolescents experiencing school issues, sleep difficulties, sibling relationship concerns, toileting difficulties, anxiety concerns, anger outbursts, symptoms of ADHD, defiance, relationship issues, and many other topics. In a collaborative way, I help parents establish effective strategies to increase desirable behavior and decrease problematic behavior. With children, I use play therapy to develop trust and rapport. Through assessment and play, I gain valuable information. With parent involvement, I develop a therapy plan that is effective in making meaningful changes. I am a co-founder of Life Strategies, LLC. We offer appointments in Chesterton as well as the Merrillville/Schererville area. Our focus is to provide quality therapy services that offer lasting change.
