More About Ashley Ashley received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA) in 1993. After graduation, Ashley worked for Meredith Corporation (Publishers of Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies’ Home Journal, & many others) in Des Moines, IA in the publishing support department. Upon leaving Meredith, he joined Apple Computer in their Kansas City field sales office as an Account Executive – responsible for assisting in sales and marketing efforts in the Kansas City metro area. Ashley was transferred with Apple to Boulder, CO where he worked in the Higher Education division of the company covering the colleges and universities in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. After several successful years with Apple, he left the company to pursue a career in real estate full time. Ashley earned his license in Colorado as a Broker-Associate in the fall of 1998. Ashley joined Realty Executives of Summit County representing clients in the ski resort communities of Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain. After a successful year and a half in the business in Colorado, Ashley moved to Chicago for family reasons. Ashley became licensed as a Broker in Illinois in the spring of 2000. Later that same year, he became a franchisee of Realty Executives with an office in the Albany Park neighborhood of Chicago. In the summer of 2003 Ashley merged his office and franchise territory with his current office, Realty Executives City, located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. As part of the business realignment, Ashley became a Sr. Partner with the firm. In March of 2008, the firm merged with Koenig & Strey GMAC.
