Doing the things that are enjoyable creates good memories for old age times, and often results in receiving medals, certificates, trophies, and other means of expressing appreciation by others. Last month, June 2013, my grandson Erik Steven Angove, Jessica Chaveriat and I visited the Hospital Bethesda in Xochenpich via Dzitas, and la Clinica Promesa in Piste',Yucata'n, and rejoiced with Dr. Jose Ek Estrella, his son Federico who is chief of surgery now, Nursing director Femia Haas who knows Maya, Spanish and English equally well, and is one of the key persons in the success of those institutions; and Dr. William Perez, pediatrician and general surgeon at La Clinica Promesa. He showed me the air conditioner in the operating room that my dad and brother Richard D. Angove, engineer, Ames, Iowa, installed in 1969 and is still functioning. God is continuously blessing me with honors! I've just found out that I'm going to be the greatgrandfather of a boy and two more that are too small to know, making 20 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, five of each greatgrandchilren plus the three more yet to be born.
