My late husband, Jay, and I have been benefactors to the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. I continue to be a member and enjoy the art as well as the fine people who are a part of that group. We've had season tickets to women's gymnastics at the University of Utah for over 25 years, and have watched the growth of the sport and the team during that time. We saw the World Gymnastic Championships in Brisbane, Australia in 1996, and were deeply impressed by both the women's and men's competitions. I now have tickets to the Utah Symphony/Utah Opera and love going to the performances. I've met a number of very nice people there, and think the conductor, Thierry Fischer, has improved the musicianship of the orchestra a great deal. I'm looking forward to the next season already!
