Polymeric Enhancement Of Pesticide Bait Sprays To Increase Rainfastness

US Patent:
2008028, Nov 20, 2008
Filed:
Mar 31, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/059013
Inventors:
William Toreld, III - Gainesville FL, US
Ara Manukian - Gainesville FL, US
International Classification:
A01N 25/00
US Classification:
424 84
Abstract:
An insecticide composition is provided for killing insects comprising a bait spray formulation comprising a bait component, an insecticide component, and an adjuvant effective to decrease the water solubility of the bait spray formulation upon drying of the bait spray formulation. Upon application to a target environment, the bait spray formulation will dry, typically via evaporation of at least a portion of the water contained in the original bait spray composition, leaving a residue which is substantially insoluble in water, and thus less prone to being washed-off by rain or irrigation.

Quad-Centric Nozzle And System For Hydrocapsule Encapsulation

US Patent:
2013022, Aug 29, 2013
Filed:
Feb 29, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/409089
Inventors:
Michael Pitsokos - Jasper GA, US
Ara Manukian - Gainesville FL, US
William Toreki - Gainesville FL, US
Assignee:
HYDROCAPSULE, INC. - Jasper GA
International Classification:
B32B 15/02, B28B 1/54
US Classification:
42840221, 425 5, 264 4
Abstract:
A quad-centric nozzle and system for hydrocapsule encapsulation is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a quad-centric nozzle is disclosed for encapsulating discrete droplets of liquid by generating a continuous coating or layer of a polymerizable liquid which is substantially immiscible with the core liquid. In at least one embodiment, the quad-centric nozzle includes: a material feed port assembly, a polymer feed port assembly, a first water feed port assembly, a second water feed port assembly and an encapsulated material exit port assembly. In at least one embodiment, the quad-centric nozzle is configured for use in a system for hydrocapsule encapsulation having a pressure control system, a water control system and sparging column, and an ultraviolet exposure chamber system.

Enhanced Non-Lethal Electric Weapon

US Patent:
7206183, Apr 17, 2007
Filed:
Dec 30, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/750539
Inventors:
William J. Sikes - Jacksonville FL, US
Ara Manukian - Gainesville FL, US
Assignee:
Millennium Dynamics, Inc. - Jacksonville FL
International Classification:
H02H 1/00
US Classification:
361232
Abstract:
A multi-component device which is capable of delivering a non-lethal, high-voltage electric shock which can incapacitate a person or animal that is worn as an ordinary article of apparel (clothing) by a person for use as a defensive or offensive weapon that is not distinguishable or identifiable as a weapon. The types of apparel used as this device are regular clothing items such as pants, jackets, vests, shoes and gloves, all of which contain internal high voltage electrodes and wiring, a unique pressure sensitive activation switch, and a separate control unit that is attached to a belt or placed in a pocket which is connected to the clothing item by a separate multiconductor electrical wiring harness. The device is activated by physical contact with target subject.

Hydrocapsules And Method Of Preparation Thereof

US Patent:
2002005, May 2, 2002
Filed:
Feb 9, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/780046
Inventors:
William Toreki - Gainesville FL, US
Ara Manukian - Gainesville FL, US
Rudolph Strohschein - Micopany FL, US
International Classification:
B01J013/02
US Classification:
264/004100, 428/402200
Abstract:
A method is described for the formation of microcapsules which contain a liquid composition in the core, which is surrounded by a polymeric shell, membrane, or coating. The microcapsules are produced by simultaneously extruding the liquid core material along with a polymerizable liquid through concentrically-aligned nozzles to form spherically-layered biliquid droplets, followed by energy input in the form of heat or light which causes polymerization of the outer layer. The capsules formed by this method are capable of containing a variety of liquid materials having a composition ranging from completely aqueous to completely non-aqueous.
