Attorney General Greg Abbott Names San Antonio Child Support Employee AAG of the Year.
SAN ANTONIO – Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today recognized April Smith, an assistant attorney general in the Child Support Division’s San Antonio West office, for her commitment to Texas children.
Smith, who was named “Assistant Attorney General of the Year” for the 24-county region, received the honor Wednesday at the Statewide Assistant Attorneys General Conference in Austin.
“April Smith’s hard work and dedication helped ensure thousands of young Texans have the child support they need to grow healthy and strong,” Attorney General Abbott said. “A committed and selfless public servant, April stands out as one of the state’s most dedicated and impressive lawyers. We are grateful to April Smith for her commitment to Texas children.”
Smith was recognized for developing innovative practices that have resulted in improved service delivery to customers.
