Registered Nurse August 2013- Present Provide direct, continuous care to patients in short term rehabilitation/sub-acute care, long term, and hospice, in a facility of 362 beds. Give respect and value to each patient's unique, individual needs, beliefs and diversity, and incorporate these into planning and delivery of care. Assess and evaluate patient needs including chronic/acute illness, and post-surgical procedures. Administer medications, and treat wounds as ordered; evaluate responses to care rendered and apply sound nursing ethical judgment in patient care decisions making. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care.
