Abstract:
A fluid control method includes providing fluid flow through a conduit having a pressure sensitive shutdown valve; driving an electrical power generator with the turbine wheel and delivering electrical power to a storage battery which in-turn powers the components of the system. The method further includes: detecting turbine RPM; calculating volume flow rate from the RPM value and conversion factors input to a computer program. Next, it is determined if average or peak flow rates exceed set point values and creating a shut down signal if it is true so as to close the shutdown valve. A fluid pressure delta is therefore established across the shutdown valve and it is only opened when fluid pressure equilibrium is restored across the valve after break or leak repair and after slowly refilling the downstream system.

Abstract:
An improved aircraft towing vehicle includes a base plate, a controller and two drive motors supported by two track assemblies. A pivoting wheel constraint mechanism rests on the base plate and includes a front roller mount, a rear roller mount and a linkage connecting the front roller mount and the rear roller mount. When the rear roller mount is pushed or otherwise urged backward, the linkage causes the front roller mount to pivot upward to confine an aircraft wheel on the base plate. A latch keep is also connected to the base plate for holding the rear roller mount in the backward position and locking the wheel constraining mechanism for moving an aircraft.

Abstract:
A plumbing fixture trim snap connect comprises a faucet handle assembly and a base assembly. The faucet handle assembly includes an escutcheon bearing upper and lower internal tabs, freely rotatable around a faucet handle. The base assembly includes a base seat on which a spring and retainer are maintained in an upwardly biased position. The seat includes a groove and helical cut, and the retainer includes indents in its surface to accommodate the upper and lower tabs of the escutcheon. By pushing the escutcheon down atop the base assembly and rotating the escutcheon relative to the base assembly, the apparatus can be assembled. Disassembly can be accomplished simply by rotating the escutcheon in the opposite direction.
