She moved to Gainesville in 1981 to attend the University of Florida in pursuit of a degree in Physical Therapy. After marrying, she changed her plans and earned a degree in nursing. Annette is married with 3 children. She and her husband are very active with their family and community. Over the years she has worn many hats. A brief stint homeschooling two of her children gave her a great appreciation for teachers. As a nurse she has worked as a School nurse, Hospice, Rehab, and OR nurse. She volunteer’s as a band parent and Committee Member of Boy Scout Troop 432. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
