Abstract:
The present invention provides methods of increasing efficacy of treatment with growth hormone secretagogues, prodrugs thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable salts of said secretagogues and said prodrugs, for patients who have normal or above normal levels of testosterone. The present invention also provides methods of reducing the therapeutic doses of such compounds in such patients. More specifically, the present invention provides such methods wherein the growth hormone secretagogues are compounds of Formula I:
a prodrug thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of said secretagogue or said prodrug.
