Abstract:
A portable garment protector device for allowing a wearer to deploy upper and lower torso sheath portions from a belt attached front container. The upper and lower torso sheaths are made of absorbent material overlying a water repellent material for protecting a wearer's chest, lap, thighs legs and knees from spilled liquids and foods. Also, side edge and bottom edge channels attached to the device prevent splashing liquid and food from touching the sides and lower leg areas of the wearer. An optional collection basin in front of the device can further collect additional spilled food and liquid. To use, the wearer unzips the container, and unravels both the upper and lower halves of the device over their upper and lower extremities. Additional adjustable neck straps allow the device to be used with different sized users. Wearer's can use the device on seatbelts as both a passenger and a driver in a vehicle, as well as just on the front of their normally worn clothing belt.
