Skills:
Patients treated from eight rural counties as well as small cities. Economically, nearly half the patients served are disadvantaged. A wide range of educational and intellectual levels are treated: Persons with little education or developmental disabilities as well as individuals with college, medical and professional degrees. Physically and mentally disabled are worked with. Demographically, patients are from all ethnic groups including Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Asian, African American and Caucasian. All age groups are treated: children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Members of military/veterans and their families comprise 25 % of caseload. Concentration on outpatient psychological treatment. Experience with evidence based and short term psychotherapy as well as long term insight oriented therapy. Inpatient experience includes: Adolescent Unit, Substance Abuse Unit, Adult Units.
