Interests:
During 15 years in the mental health field, Amy became interested in the connection between food, overall health and mental health. Amy is concerned about food quality, the accessibility of pure & healthy food, and the "food grid" in general. Upon completing her MS in management, Amy assisted a friend in launching a non-profit enviromental organization featuring an organic CSA farm. Since changing her living environment, Amy is also considering a career combining her passions in food and leadership. She particularly enjoys staff training and development.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys a variety of activities including cooking, singing/music, reading, hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing (both cross country and downhill, though is not a thrill seeker on the slopes), and knitting.
