Philosophy:
Palliative Care involves symptom management in the presence of any serious illness. We take a "whole patient" approach to care, including physical, emotional, and spiritual elements of the condition. Some examples of symptoms include pain, breathlessness, fatigue, constipation or diarrhea, and chest pain. Improved symptom management enables people to better fight serious illness, whether to live better, live longer, or both. We also care for patients with pain who do not have serious illness.
