Medical transport system for lifting and moving heavyweight patients, said system comprising an articulated pallet (i.e. bed) which stays with the patient for the duration of treatment and a Movable, variable height lifting mechanism for receiving or depositing said pallet from or to the ground, a bed or an operating table.
