I conduct orientation and training of all staff, as well as oversee all nursing personnel. Some of my other responsibilities include conducting patient case management, medication inventory, IV therapy, phlebotomy, venipuncture, running a wide variety of laboratory tests, obtaining vital signs, taking medical histories and performing assessments, administering medications and vaccinations, performing well child checks, physicals, DOT drug testing (urine and hair), pulmonary function tests, hearing booth testing, breath alcohol testing, ECG, NST, allergy injections, administering nebulizer treatments, glucose testing, vision screening, INR testing, diabetic monitoring, patient teaching. I assist physicians with procedures related to acute care and womens health. I also assist with ultrasound, CT scans and x-rays. Office tasks such as answering phones, data entry, scheduling appointments, and referrals. I am proficient in using an electronic health record. I supervise the delivery of quality patient care for four providers. I am also in charge of inspections with CLIA, DEA and Wyoming state immunization program.
