Since 1980, Allan Domb and his highly reputable real estate brokerage firm have been known throughout the United States as key contributors to Center City Philadelphia’s luxury condominium market. Today, Mr. Domb continues to specialize in Center City luxury condominium sales in buildings such as Academy House, The Bank Building, The Barclay, Center City One, The Dorchester, Hopkinson House, Independence Place, The Lanesborough, The Lippincott, Parc Rittenhouse, Pier 3, Pier 5, The Philadelphian, Society Hill Towers, Wanamaker House and The Warwick Condominiums. Additionally, Mr. Domb’s company leases residential apartments, condominiums and commercial properties and manages all of Allan Domb's assets. Since 1999, Mr. Domb has also been engaged in the adaptive reuse of historic buildings into luxury condominiums and the development of new luxury condominiums in Center City. His portfolio of development properties includes Parc Rittenhouse, The Warwick, The Bank Building Residences, The Lanesborough, 220 West Washington Square and The Barclay. Nationally, Mr. Domb has been ranked a top producing real estate broker for the past thirty years. He was named the REALTOR® of the Year by the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS® (GPAR) in 1982 and 2013 and was named the REALTOR® of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® in 2013.

Mr. Domb owns four office buildings totaling 587,000 square feet; two apartment buildings, one with 87 units and the other with 114 units; and approximately 175,000 square feet of additional retail and mixed use real estate in Center City.

Mr. Domb was inaugurated for a third term as President of GPAR on January 14, 2014. He served his first term in 1990 and his second term in 2013; he is the first person to serve three terms as President of the Association in its 108 year history. Under the leadership of Mr. Domb, GPAR has changed its mission from The Voice of Real Estate in Philadelphia to The Voice of Philadelphia. As such, over the course of 2013, GPAR played an integral role in the implementation of tax lien certificate sale legislation to help the city collect $500 million in real estate tax delinquencies and $370 million in delinquent water, sewer and gas liens, totaling $870 million; evaluation of 26 closed public schools and development of three categories for these schools—very saleable, residential potential and an option to create a Keystone Opportunity Zone which would create new jobs in the areas of the City that need them the most; efforts to preserve the 10 year real estate tax abatement and extension of the abatement to 25 years for areas of the city where house sales are less than $125,000, to encourage development, upkeep and avoid continued blight; creation of one land bank where the 60,000 parcels of land and properties owned by the City can be sold and converted to affordable housing, senior living and market rate housing, thereby reducing our annual cost of $20 million to maintain these properties; the establishment of a student competition for all universities in Philadelphia through the Fels Institute to determine the ten best ideas to save the city in the areas of budgeting and processes; and the exploration of converting all city properties from steam to gas with PGW which can potentially save tens of millions of dollars, as well as exploring how PGW can become a key factor in the exportation of energy from the Marcellus Shale region through Philadelphia ports.

In addition to his real estate ventures, Mr. Domb is an owner/investor and sits on the board of Starr Restaurant Organization, a group of 31 stylish, upscale restaurants located in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, New York City, Washington DC and South Florida, and Starr Events, a catering group and hotel group. Mr. Domb is also the owner of Schlesinger’s Delicatessen, an award-winning Jewish style delicatessen and restaurant in Philadelphia, dedicated to his family.

Mr. Domb received his Bachelor of Arts degree from American University. He currently serves on the boards of the Center City District; Friends of Rittenhouse Square; and five condominium associations, of which he is the president of three. He is a past president of the Friends of Rittenhouse Square and has served on three other condominium boards in the past. Mr. Domb has the distinct honor of being a member of Star Power, a group of the top realtors throughout the country who typically average $35 million in annual sales.

Mr. Domb has been quoted and featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes, Business Week, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Urban Land, Multifamily Executive, and many other publications.
