In my three decades of practicing Anesthesia, I have called each patient prior to the day of surgery whenever possible. A relaxed pre-op conversation helps reassure my patients that I understand her needs both medically and psychologically, and gives me time to formulate a personalized, comprehensive anesthesia plan well in advance of the scheduled surgery. My goal is to deliver the safest possible anesthetic, and to provide a soothing, comfortable experience before, during, and after surgery.
