Getting you the care you need quickly is important to us. The MEDIC+CARE WALK IN CLINIC does not have long waiting times or the much higher charges associated with hospital emergency rooms, which handle more serious, life-threatening emergencies. The MEDIC+CARE WALK IN CLINIC is conveniently located near your home and provides high-quality urgent care services at a very reasonable and affordable price. We are conveniently located near St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Tierra Verde, Gulfport, Tyrone and surrounding communities. We are less than a 15 minute drive from most locations in southern Pinellas County. For serious illness, expedited hospital admission is available with referrals to specialist care as needed. We welcome new patients and vacationers. Many patients have, over the years, become established here for routine medical care. Many come here when they are unable to see their own physician. The clinic will happily forward your visit notes to your physician upon request. We treat: Sprains and strains, including back pain and sciatica; Flu, colds, earaches, eye infections, sinus infections, etc; Bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD and asthma attacks; Cuts, scrapes, and splinters, skin infections and abscesses; Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; Kidney and bladder infections; Rashes, burns, skin problems and allergic reactions; We perform sports, school, and employment physicals as well as cholesterol, diabetes and thyroid screening; we provide high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes care, arthritis, bursitis and gout care and many other medical conditions. All payments are due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. If you are covered by insurance, you are responsible for deductible and copay at time of visit. Please show your insurance card and a valid photo ID to the receptionist BEFORE YOU SEE THE DOCTOR to verify if we participate in your health plan. We do not accept some health plans and are 'out of network' providers for these plans. If this is the case, you are responsible for the entire bill at time of service and we will issue to you an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance carrier. Sorry, we do not accept Medicaid or Worker's Comp.
