Abstract:
A device and method of locating the cervix and uterus is disclosed. A means opaque to radiation is inserted through the cervix into the uterus and fixed to the cervix. A method of organ visualization may then be used to locate the position of the device and hence the cervix and uterus. The device may remain fixed in place inside the cervix and uterus for an extended period of time, allowing these organs to be easily located on a frequent basis.
