Philosophy:

The purpose of my practice is to provide state-of-the-art Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine care in an efficient and compassionate fashion. I believe that new technologies combined with traditional craftsmanship are the keys to successful surgery. I am board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. The focus of my practice is the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. Complex arthroscopic surgeries are performed on an out-patient basis. Care is also provided for my patients as a general orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician. Minimally invasive techniques are utilized in all the surgeries I perform including computer assisted knee replacements. My ultimate goal is to get patients back to normal activities as quickly and painlessly as possible. Technology and craftsmanship are important but not everything. Compassion is also a key ingredient to good medical care. This is often lost by the time we become surgical specialists. Patients tell me that they appreciate my bedside manner.
