Philosophy:
My practice is designed to allow me as much time as I need, and as much as the patient needs, for me to help them in a way that's tailored closely to their specific illness and to their specific preferences. Since most chronic illnesses can be treated in several different ways, I try to explain the pros and cons of the available treatments, and encourage patients to be active in developing their own treatment plan with me. This includes being open to "alternative" treatments, while being closely aware of the evidence supporting them - or its absence.
