<br /><B>A Little About My Background</b>
<br />I have been buying and selling real estate for many years prior to embracing home sales as a full time business in 1995. Immediately after getting my college degree in advertising, I worked for several years in advertising management, sales, and marketing. The education and experience was very beneficial when I became the manager and a partner of the “award winning” Lindal Home dealership in Salt Lake City. The Lindal name is famous worldwide for quality cedar and log homes. Our dealership designed, engineered, and packaged hundreds of upscale homes that were built in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Some of the homes were main residences, but most of our clients were building their second home, a dream retreat, on property that usually had panoramic views. We took our clients from the dream to reality with stunning homes using expansive glass windows that brought the beautiful natural surroundings into the home and complemented the post and beam architecture and craftmanship. After selling the Lindal Home business, I joined the Lawson Real Estate Team of Prudential Utah in Park City, Utah. The Lawson Team is known as one of the most successful real estate groups in the Park City market, is among the top Prudential real estate teams in the entire country, and has been instrumental in the recent expansion of condo/hotels and resort homes at The Canyons Resort. It was a wonderful experience working as marketing manager and also selling homes, condos and land in the unique community. I represented both buyers and sellers in multi-million dollar sales in Park City and surrounding communities. However, I find that the most rewarding aspect of real estate, is not the size of the transaction, but helping buyers find the best value and seeing first time buyers find their dream home, or selling a property for someone who really needs to get the property sold. My wonderful wife, Cheryl and our five children have always enjoyed the beauty of Southern Utah and loved the community of St. George. We visited frequently, with family here, and kept looking for the right opportunity to move, loving the days of sun and the activities that surround the community. All of our children are now adults and two of them moved to St. George and loved it so much, “they said they would not be moving back to Northern Utah.” So, we decided that there would not be a perfect time, and that my real estate skills would work in St. George too. We love it here, enjoy the weather, the endless hiking trails where we can walk with our two very busy pugs. I have found the real estate community to be terrific too, and I really enjoy working with the diversity in the market.
