Dr. Alan Rothstein is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, where in 1986 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Building on that training, Dr. Rothstein earned his DDS in 1990 and also then got his post-graduate certificate in Periodontology in 1992 from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
