I believe first and foremost that your overall goal is maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My focus is on flexible eating guidelines. To me, there is no such thing as bad foods, and my style does not involve deprivation, punishment, guilt, and all-or-nothing rules. Most importantly there is no judgment. My approach is simple: eat the foods you like, learn to moderate certain foods, and feel empowered to make healthy, informed food decisions. I offer nutrition counseling and nutrition services in English and in Spanish for the five boroughs of New York City. I specialize in controlling blood sugar, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, optimizing athletic performance, appropriate prenatal and maternal weight gain, nutrition counseling for bariatric surgery, teaching how to eat, and maintaining a healthy weight.
