Philosophy:
I enjoy taking the time to sit down with each patient (and family members, if possible) and really listen to their problems and concerns. My patient's condition is then explained in great detail, frequently with the use of models and/or handouts. I then allow my patient to select from a long list of possible treatments, thus enabling them to select which ones might best meet their particular needs. I have found that, by far, the majority of patients are managed conservatively without surgery. However, if surgery is indeed the best option, then it is clearly recommended (but not insisted upon). I specialize in computer assisted, minimally invasive joint replacements (including hips, both partial and total knees, and shoulders), arthroscopic surgery, cartilage transplants, rotator cuff repair, hand surgery, neck and back pain, and fracture repair.
I truly enjoy being an orthopaedic surgeon, and look forward to continuing to serve you.
