I'm a family man first, so activities with my family is always fun...beyond that I love spending time in the outdoors (e.g., camping, hiking, fishing, backpacking, exploring, etc.). I volunteer extensively with the Boy Scouts of America (e.g., unit activities, overnight camps, District and Council activities, etc.). It is very rewarding to see young people mature and progress in their goals and dreams. I also volunteer as an Amateur Radio Operator for both large- and small-scale events where remote communication is necessary (e.g., races, group events, Search and Rescue, and Church events).
