As a physician trained in Internal Medicine, I provide a broad range of in-patient and out-patient primary care services for adults, young and old, including physical examinations, immunizations, treatment of minor and acute illnesses, management of chronic conditions, and pre-employment executive physicals. As an internist, my role is to keep watch over patients’ total health and enlist the support of other specialists when needed. I diagnose and manage the treatment of a broad scope of conditions, including heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, infectious disease, arthritis, lung disease, digestive disorders and specialized care of age-related disease. As a solo practitioner, patients know that they will be seeing me at each visit. This helps establish the physician-patient relationship more quickly and effectively than it would in a larger group practice where a patient may have to see different providers. I believe that it is extremely important to establish strong relationships between the physician and patient to maximize the best possible health outcomes. As an internist my goal is to provide high quality, cost-effective, individualized medical care with an emphasis on disease prevention and prompt diagnosis and treatment.
